I'm having this error as well on my X60. Except I see the error before I enter my bios password. I know my bios password but somehow it changed or got corrupted or? I enter the password or passwords 3 times and an image of a hand shows up telling me I need to try again after I shut it down. I tried unplugging the bios battery and starting the X60 but it has not solved the problem and it's still asking for a password on boot. What can I do next?.edit - also, I cannot get into bios or windows, without a password, to change any settings.oops, should I have started a new thread in the X forum?.
